Fantasy Podcast Intelligence
Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current development build. Publication of this policy does not mean the app is available for public release.
Fantasy Podcast Intelligence is developed by Chris Perry. For support or privacy questions, contact [email protected].
The app stores your library on your device and does not require an app account. It connects to external services to find and download podcast content and update player reference data. It has no developer-operated cloud backend, advertising SDK, or analytics SDK.
What stays on your device
Your feeds, episode history, downloaded audio, transcripts, saved extraction results, preferences, and cached player reference data are stored locally to provide the app's features. Searching episodes already in your library is local.
The app does not automatically upload your library, audio, transcripts, or saved results to Chris Perry or a hosted AI service. It does not provide its own cloud synchronization. Device backups, migration, system diagnostics, and files you choose to share are separate and may create copies outside the app.
Transcription and extraction
Transcription uses Apple's on-device speech recognition on downloaded episode audio, with your speech-recognition permission. If on-device recognition is unavailable, the app does not fall back to cloud recognition. The app does not record your microphone.
Normal extraction is currently unavailable while its quality is being evaluated. Previously saved results remain local. This policy does not describe experimental research models as a released feature.
Connections to other services
- Podcast discovery: Apple receives your directory search terms and search parameters through its iTunes search service.
- Feeds, audio, and artwork: Podcast publishers, image hosts, content-delivery services, and redirect destinations receive requests for the content you add, refresh, download, or view.
- Player reference data: The app checks for updates from Sleeper's public NFL player endpoint, normally weekly when enabled and enabled by default. This is not roster synchronization; no Sleeper login, roster, or transcript is sent.
These connections expose ordinary request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and HTTP metadata, to the recipient. System networking can use caches and cookies. Providers may keep logs under their own practices; this policy does not promise that those services retain nothing. The app does not use these requests for advertising tracking.
Diagnostics and voluntary sharing
Local diagnostics help investigate errors and performance. They can contain episode identifiers, processing times, resource measurements, and error details. The app does not automatically send these reports to the developer.
Private developer QA builds can explicitly export transcripts and diagnostics. These export controls are not available in the normal Release build. If you share a file or send support email, the recipient receives the information you chose to include. Review attachments before sharing them.
Support email
If you email Chris Perry, your address, message, attachments, and ordinary email metadata are received through Namecheap Private Email and the providers involved in delivering your message.
Support correspondence is used only to respond and troubleshoot, retained only as needed for that purpose or applicable legal/security obligations, and deleted on request where possible. Deletion is subject to the email providers' retention and backup limitations; it does not guarantee immediate removal of every backup copy.
Retention, deletion, and your choices
Saved library content remains on your device until you remove it using the app or delete the app. Temporary and cached data may be cleared separately by the app or operating system.
- Audio-only deletion keeps the transcript and saved results.
- Deleting an episode's local data removes its downloaded and processed files while keeping the episode listing.
- Removing only a feed preserves its local episodes. Use the feed-and-local-data deletion option to remove associated data as well.
- The library reset removes library content; it is not a promise to erase all system caches or preferences.
App deletion controls do not erase files you already shared or copies in existing device backups. Manage backups through your device or backup provider. Chris Perry cannot remotely access or delete data stored only on your device.
You can revoke speech-recognition permission in system Settings; transcription then requires permission again. Contact the email above about information you have sent directly to the developer, including deletion requests.
Visiting the policy website
The policy's source file has no analytics scripts, tracking pixels, forms, or external fonts. The domain uses Cloudflare in front of Namecheap hosting. These providers may process request information such as IP address, browser details, page URL, and access time to deliver and secure the site. Hosting and security services may add code or cookies as part of providing those services.
Cloudflare protects displayed email addresses using an email-decoding script. Website request logs and provider backups are separate from the app's local library. Their retention depends on provider practices and settings; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion interval or that every visit is cookie-free.
Security and policy changes
Protect your device, backups, and any exported files. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
This policy will be updated when practices change, with the effective date shown above. New data uses will need appropriate notice and permission.
